Crafts, vendors and more! Shop for the holidays with the Kinette Club of London. Come on out and purchase handmade items, baking and crafts. Artisans, books, men's table, and more. Admission: free will donation.

New Canadians Walk

Join us for a winter walk around London's Meadowlily Nature Preserve. Take in the sights and sounds of the Carolinian forest while making new friends and learning more about the natural environment of your new home city. Make sure to dress for the weather including gloves and toques! A great event for families and new residents of London!

Christmas in the Village 2019

Christmas comes but once a year… don't miss the fun! Activities include Breakfast with Santa, horse and wagon rides, crafts and games at the Library and throughout the Village, a Christmas bazaar, Christmas tree sales, street entertainment, skits and the lighting of the lights at our community Winter Wonderland! It will be an exciting day for the entire family.

Our theme for this year "Christmas Through the Decades." Please bring a non-perishable food donation to the parade. We will be supporting food donations for the Ailsa Craig Food Bank. Hot chocolate and timbits will follow at the Community Centre. Plus you'll have a chance to visit with Santa and maybe take a picture or two!  Meet Father Christmas

Enjoy self-guided tours of our Victorian Christmas exhibit with hands-on activities for children as well as a picture with Father Christmas in the Drawing Room. Admission by donation, and for a small donation, Eldon House can provide staff to take family photos using your camera or device. A limit of 3 pictures per group for large groups. Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

Christmas Merry Makers Fair

Covent Garden Market
A 100% handmade event held in the heart of the Forest City. Admission is free and underground parking is free upon validation (2 hours). The Merry Makers Fair mission is simple; to inspire and encourage up and coming small, 100% handmade businesses and connect them to conscious consumers in London. Here you'll find some of the best handmade shopping around - everything you need to finish your Christmas list, and support local at the same time!

View the lights in Victoria Park from the Promenade Deck at City Hall (12th floor of City Hall, 300 Dufferin Avenue) Everyone is welcome to view the Winter Wonderland lights on the following evenings:

  • Tuesday, December 10 - CLOSED

  • Wednesday, December 11 to Tuesday, December 24, inclusive - 7-11pm

  • Wednesday, December 25 - CLOSED (Christmas Day)

 New Year’s Eve in the Park

Start.ca New Year’s Eve in the Park is a community-driven event supported by the City of London. This free, fun and family-friendly event brings thousands of Londoners together to enjoy a magical night filled with entertainment for all ages. Victoria Park comes alive with outdoor skating, live music performances at the band shell, and the opportunity for children to meet their favorite superheroes all while you enjoy a hot chocolate and take in the thousands of lights strung on Victoria Park’s trees. Experience two fantastic fireworks displays - the first at 9pm (perfect for kids and families) and then again at the stroke of midnight.
