Let us introduce you to this summer’s WILD CHILD camp counsellors! From left to right:

Hi, I’m Angela! I’m a 4th year student at Western studying psychology. I adore working with children and having fun with them. I also love nature and crafts. I’m excited to share the fun this summer with all of our WILD CHILD kids

Hi, my name is Siobhan! I’m a student at the University of Toronto studying Ecology, and I am on the Varsity Fencing Team. I love spending time in the outdoors and learning about all of the animals and plants in our area. I’m super excited to work at WILD CHILD this summer and help develop the children’s connections to nature.

Hi, I’m Helen! I’m going into my 2nd year at Western studying acturial science. Last summer, I worked at the High Park Nature Centre, so I am excited to share my stewardship experience with the WILD CHILD campers! During my free time, you can find me fishing in Windsor, hiking, or skiing. I love working with children and nature, so I look forward to making a positive impact this summer.

My name is Emily, and I am the 2019 Wild Child Camp Coordinator. I will be enrolling in my final year at Western University, completing my BA in Criminology. I have been involved in child care since 2011, both in camp environments and day care. I was a counsellor at WILD CHILD last summer and absolutely loved it! Why? Because now more than ever, it is vital that children are encouraged to be stewards of their environment and treat the earth with respect and love, as well as one another. WILD CHILD helps campers understand that we only have one Earth and that we must protect it and preserve it. As outdoor adventurers, when the world grows, we grow with it!.

Hello! My name is Britney, and I am a music major just coming out of highschool! I have always loved working with children since I have 5 younger siblings. I have also always had a passion for the outdoors and enjoy playing in the mud and ponds. I am very excited to be playing with your children this summer and giving them the BEST nature-based summer ever!
