WILD CHILD: Sit Spot

dragonfly bridge.JPG

One of the spots in the forest that is a camper favourite is the “Dragonfly Bridge” - right behind Tourism London. The children love to climb trees and logs, learn about lily pads, and search for bugs and turtles in that spot. One of the most amazing activities to do though, is to just sit and listen to your surroundings. Breathing in the fresh air, listening to the wind and the sounds of the birds, and feeling the cool water (and sometimes squishy mud) in their boots are all experienced by WILD CHILD campers.

Taking a moment to connect with nature is incredibly important for everyone - especially children, as there is no better way to become a steward of the Earth. Through actively learning about the environment, children discover that nature must be nurtured because our lives depend on it.
