WILD CHILD Wintermission: A-B-See Hike

Today's Wintermission challenge is to take an A-B See hike.

Today is one of those days where you can enjoy different types of weather all day. If you love rain, head out early to find puddles, or if you prefer snow, venture out later in the day, and you should be able to catch soft snowflakes on your tongue.

While you are outside, challenge each other to spot something for each letter of the alphabet in order. “A is for _______. “ Depending on your group's ages, this is a fun cooperative or comparative game. Littlest ones can try to tell you what sound words start with, or you can point and have them name the object or repeat the name you say.

So head outside to play, and see if you can find the alphabet!

If you try this idea or any of our other wintermission challenges , please share your experience with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram! Tag us and include the hashtag #wintermission. We would love to see these challenges in action!
