Here is a list of virtual activities and experiences for your families to take part in and enjoy while you are stuck at home:
April 8 - Children’s Museum Virtual Dance Party
April 22 - Growing Chef’s Cooking Classes, geared to 9 to 13 year olds but also suitable for younger children with parental help.
FREE online events and activities for kids at home - the Common Sense Media website lists virtual story times from picture books to books for tweens and teens. There are readings by Levar Burton from Reading Rainbow and also reading by authors such as James Dean who reads his Pete the Cat books. There are online drawing lessons and live streamed concerts offering children’s concerts, classical, jazz, rock and folk music. There are also virtual tours of museums, American National Parks and Mars.
