WILD CHILD Wintermission: Capture the Moment

Today's Wintermission is let your child document your winter adventure.

My children love nothing more than to be in charge of the camera, and I've noticed that their friends have similar interests.

When they were too little to use a camera we would pretend to hold imaginary cameras, say’ click’, then purposely remember our picture to talk about later.

Today's mission is to head outside for an adventure and let your children be the storyteller and photographer. When you get home take time to look at the pictures together and retell your adventure. If you don't have a camera or don't want little people holding electronics take imaginary pictures and talk about them or draw them at home.

This adventure can be as serious or silly as you make it. It's fun way to give children a chance to share what they see and what is important to them.

If you try this idea or any of our other wintermission challenges , please share your experience with us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram! Tag us and include the hashtag #wintermission. Inspire others to head outside and find joy in the winter.
